The state water snapper fishing is still going strong. We are catching our snapper close to shore. The redfish have also been showing up at dixie bar. Fishing is fun and easy right now.

The red snapper have moved in to the close in oil rigs. This makes for some easy fishing and great catches. Book a nearshore 4 hour trip and catch some snapper with out the up charge this fall.

The captain did not have the decency to cancel the trip even though there was lightning in the vicinity. We got to our destination and then the captain decided it was not safe to fish, so took us back inshore and fished off the bank. Was not worth the $350 I spent. Would have liked a discount at least.
