The “taxman” certainly took his share on a couple of the groundfish with the last drop resulting in that elusive shark rising from the bottom and breaking off the rig. Thanks for a great review. We really enjoyed taking you and your son out on the water. In spite of some rough conditions you both had a great Mackerel haul and those 2 stripers were good fighters but not quite big enough.

Hard to believe we are about to go from that glass ocean and no wind you all experienced to 6 foot waves and 25 mph winds in just 3 days. Thanks for a memorable trip Jamie with you and your family! Your 3-year old caught the biggest Mackerel of the season at 15” on the Barbie pole! Your son lit up every hook a few times on those nice sized Mackerel. We look forward to seeing you next year!
