Ryan is the most genuine, sweetest knowledgeable captain. He knows all the hot spots for fishing, beach cruising, seashelling,  anything you want to do. He is very laid back, he does not rush you. He makes you feel comfortable and have the best time. He has a cooler on his boat, you can bring your own drinks and snacks, however he does provide water for you. He is family friendly, he was onto of everything. Providing the bait, finding the best spots, baiting all of our lines, casting them in and everything. All you had to do is reel them in when you get one. He will not waste your time and makes the most of it. This was my second time with edgewater charters, and Ryan is amazing with dolphin sighting. It’s like the dolphins see him, and come up to say hi!! I never thought I’d see a dolphin in the wild, but I did both times with captain Ryan. His prices blow every other charter out of the water. If you ate enjoying your time and want to extend it, like we did… you are more than welcome to. I will never use another charter, and I suggest you don’t either! Don’t miss out, call Ryan today.

Great experience with Ryan on an afternoon charter! We were flying in and were nervous about timing but he was very flexible making everything stress free. On the trip he taught us a lot about the fishing in Tampa and put us onto a spot with bites right away. We wanted to catch speckled sea trout and he was able to get us the fish that we wanted pretty quickly. Overall great captain and kept us entertained throughout the trip.

Two friends and I booked a trip with Capt. Ryan as a birthday gift. The weather was not ideal, very windy and a chance of rain. Ryan let us know the conditions to see if we were comfortable going out still. We decided to go even with strong winds. He was at the dock ready with bait and took us to a protected area to fish. We caught multiple redfish that were anywhere from 17”-29”. We also caught a couple snook I the 25” range along with 4 pretty large sharks. He far exceeded our expectations on such a windy day. We will be back in July to go again!

I booked a fishing trip last minute while on a trip from up north. I am so glad I did, Ryan was such an amazing captain! I have little fishing experience and my friend did not know how to cast. Ryan was so patient and helpful explaining things to us as we needed in a gentle way. We got to try different techniques and caught lots of Grunt!
