- Background
- I have been fishing the Finger Lakes region since I was a kid. During that time I have learned how to fish several ways for all different kinds of species in the Finger Lakes and across the country. Fishing is one of my passions and I strive to give my clients the best fishing experience possible. On the 33ft Trojan we will be trolling for trout and samon. This can be one of the best ways to target trout and samon on Cayuga lake as we can cover different depths in the water column and stay on the move to find the fish. Come fish with us and experience Cayuga Lakes incredible fishery!
- Techniques
- On the 33ft Trojan we will be trolling. Depending on the time of year we will be doing different kinds of trolling methods. In the spring and early summer we typically troll from 15 Ft to 100 Ft of water flat lining plugs and running lead core with spoons. The later the summer goes when the water warms up we will be running down riggers, dipsy divers, and coppers to get deeper in the water column. As the weather changes, fishing techniques will change with it .
