We offer the best in sport fishing on Cayuga Lake.  At Whiskey Runner, we just love to fish and taking people out to experience New York State's incredible fisheries is our passion! Come fish with us!!

Whiskey Runner Charters' Cayuga boat is a Trojan 10 Meter (33ft) International with a 14 foot beam. You'll have plenty of room to fight your fish and relax comfortably while on board. It is equipped with Furuno Fish Finder, Scotty Downriggers, and a huge selection of rods, reels, and tackle. We use light tackle for the fun of the fight.

Whiskey Runner is docked at Hibiscus Harbor Marina in Union Springs, which is located midway between Rochester and Syracuse, just west of Auburn and North of Ithaca, NY.

Cayuga Lake's target fish are Atlantic Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brown Trout.

We offer daytime trips ranging from 4 to 10 hours, you decide how long you would like to go for. We also offer weekday evening trips for those who desire to come out during the week maybe after work or just to get away for a few hours of fishing. Scheduling this trip is flexible depending on availability and sunset time. Captain Dan will also fillet and bag your catch at the end of your trip!

You should bring a valid New York State fishing license, which can be purchased online, a cooler for your catch, camera, sunglasses/hat and sunscreen. Children must be 8 or older. CHILDREN UNDER 12 MUST BRING A COAST GUARD APPROVED LIFE JACKET

Motion sickness medication should be taken before the trip if needed. Please bring rain gear. We will still fish in the rain. Boat Shoes or Sneakers are preferred. Use caution with flip flops, they can be dangerous. Bring your snacks and drinks (please no glass bottles), and absolutely no Illegal drugs .
