Been fishing in the Gulf since 1974. My son’s and I had the best trip we’ve ever had with Captain Mark Wheeler. If you guys want to book a trip to go out there and get on the fish and have a great time get on the Hey Babe with Mark Wheeler.

The trip could have been better. The Captain drove us around for four of the six hours of the trip to find fish. We asked that we catch multiple species of fish including red snapper prior to leaving in our booking. We only fished for red snapper with one type of bait even though we caught cigar minnows at the start of the trip that we never used. We fished in 45 feet of water for red snapper which required at least 75 feet or more. Lastly, our lines kept getting tangled because the captain drove in circles while we were fishing. The deck hand was very helpful and courteous l. Overall, I am very disappointed in this trip because we had high hopes of catching more.  My group and I agreed that we were under served on this trip. Normally, and it is a practice of mine to be loyal and patronize good service. I am a veteran in deep excursions for family and friend, but unfortunately we cannot and will not recommend or used this charter in the future.
