My husband and I took our 8 yr old and 6yr old boys with us on a charter with Captain Wayne as part of our Spring Break trip to Sandestin and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personalized experience! Communication was very thorough and clear from initial booking through return back to the dock. The boat was well equipped, clean and comfortable. He was able to customize our experience to drop a few of us off at the Harbor Walk mid-trip after our little guys got sea sick, and still had enough time for my husband to finish the trip catching more than enough himself for us to enjoy a fresh catch dinner! Captain Wayne knows the waters well, found the fish quickly, tailored our trip unexpectedly to ensure we all had a good experience, and most importantly, we all had ample opportunities to catch some keepers! He even cleaned all of the fish for us at the end of our trip and gave us some great recipes on how to prepare it. Thank you Captain Wayne, for a great, memorable experience for our family!

Captain Wayne was very knowledgeable of all the areas to ensure we were successful in securing a catch on our charter with him.  He was very patient with our group of 4 ladies who had never fished before and we caught plenty of fish on our 4 hour charter. 
As a BONUS, the Captain, being an expert chef, willingly shared his delicious fish taco recipe with us after filleting our catch!

The captain spent his entire time worried that I would catch enough fish to be happy.  He was very attentive to my needs and wants.  In all I caught about 20+ fish with 4 or 5 nice keepers.  Very happy.  The cost was reasonable, more than reasonable.  I’ve gone out with younger, cockier captains that I would not want children in the boat with.  I would trust this captain with all ages.  Very honorable and respectable.

Had an amazing time. You can tell Captain Wayne is highly experienced. He had a plethora of poles and offered a variety of bait. If you are an avid fisherman, he lets you be. If you have not so much experience, he is there to bait your hook or just help whenever you say you need help. He doesn’t make you feel silly for not knowing what to do. There were 4 of us and I would say we each were catching a fish every 1-2 minutes! We caught different species that ranged in sizes. Our son caught a 7-8 foot bull shark! Unbelievable and totally unexpected!!

What a great experience! Capt Wayne had us fishing within 30 minutes and the fish were on!  He has several special spots and we tried them all with great success.  And it you don’t get a bite within minutes; well he does not waste your time and moves on.  We hooked many large fish we could not keep due to size, or out of season, and if you feel like fighting a shark or two until your arms hurt….well they are out there also.  We ended the day with plenty of great eating fish, not to mention the fresh fish tacos that night.  Thanks Capt Wayne, let’s do it again in the future.
