We had a wonderful time on Fish Tales with Captain Chris. Started off catching lots of spot, getting the hang of things as amateur fishermen! Next, he took us past the wild ponies and out closer to the ocean to fish for whiting and croaker. As soon as we cast out, my husband (who has never fished before) snagged a HUGE red drum. Captain Chris helped us chase the fish down and after a good run my husband was able to get him all the way up. What an amazing memory! We will definitely be back!

This was part of our daughter’s 16th birthday and we all had a blast.  Everyone caught plenty of fish,  a few to keep (which forest mate cleaned), and some amazing memories.  Connor was a great captain who made sure we were catching and if we weren’t we moved right away.  Kevin the first mate was the best.  He was on top of getting our fish and bait taken care of.  They truly made our day and also made us feel like family.  We will be back!

The crew at Fish Tales took my family of 5 out on the Chincoteague inlet this morning and man did we connect with the fish! Constant action and a nice variety of fish. Lots of kingfish and croakers among some others. My kids especially liked reeling in a massive southern sting ray and almost a second. The crew were professional, fun and great with our family. We’ll be booking again next time we’re down. I give Fish Tales my highest recommendation 10/10!

This was the first time fishing off a boat in large water. Our party loved the experience. Lots of excitement. Caught a shark and released back. Captain was nice enough to deliver one passenger back who was not feeling well. Great communication. Very informative captain.  Would highly recommend. We will try one of the bigger excursions next time.

The captain and the first mate were incredibly welcoming and knowledgable! We were grateful that the captain called to reschedule because of the forecast weather; this allowed us to avoid an afternoon of showers. My son had the experience of a life time with his catch and we had a great meal from the fish we had caught.
