Given that the weather was going to be uncooperative, Captain Mike contacted us the day prior to let us know. We chose to cancel our trip and not take the chance of having bad weather. Very much appreciate him being honest and forthcoming with information. We will definitely re-book next summer.  We did take a charter with Captain Mike in June of 2021 and had a fantastic time.

It was a hard day of fishing with incoming hard storms and strong winds. Capt Mike advised that we stay close to shore and in the bay as opposed to getting pushed around all day by gusty winds and choppy waves, and it paid off! Capt Mike and his First Mate Kyle were world class. Kyle watched the fishing lines like a hawk and Capt Mike found the fish. I had no idea fish this big were here in the Great Lakes!
