It was a hard day of fishing with incoming hard storms and strong winds. Capt Mike advised that we stay close to shore and in the bay as opposed to getting pushed around all day by gusty winds and choppy waves, and it paid off! We had to reschedule because Capt. Mike didn’t want to take our money when he expected lousy fishing. Took a morning trip the week after and he had to sub a friend in for himself due to an injury. He was a consummate pro to do so. Slow fishing but a great day. My son caught a 20-25 pound King Salmon, my fiancé caught a similar sized Lakr Trout and we had two more King Salmon. Nobody else did better today. Fun day and nice fish!
