Captain Benn and his co captain were terrific. It was the first charter of this type for me and my 17 yo son and my buddy and his two boys. Captain Benn was very detailed with all of us on the rigging, how we were going to attract the fish, and what to do once we hooked one. When we first arrived he asked what fish we might be targeting and I said Mahi. Captain Benn cautioned that due to the recent change in water temperature, the weren’t biting that great. Well, being the pro’s that they are, they found a dead tree floating 25 miles off shore and sure enough, the Mahi were there. Between the five of us, we landed nine large Mahi and lost a few others. The whole experience was amazing, but nothing tops the the joy in my son’s face after reeling in a 57 inch bull Mahi Mahi. If you’re going to be in the area definitely book them. I can’t recommend them enough.

I’d be lying if I said it was a good day, bc it was definitely a great day of fishing.  Captain Benn of Good Day referred us to Captain Randy of the boat, Swordfish, due to mechanical repair.  Captain Benn remained in contact with me often to verify all was well, and it was great.  Captain Randy and crewmember Brandon took great care of us.  Brandon successfully hooked a sailfish and marlin, when all the boats around that day were missing their bites.  Great action fishing in Quepos.  Unfortunately, the marlin didn’t survive due to where he had been hooked, so after several attempts to encourage his survival, they realized he was not going to make it.  They sent us home with so much food.  Great time fishing for sure.

We did two trips with Jackpot Sport Fishing. On both days we caught sailfish (released) as well as other fish (Mahi Mahi, Bonitos).
Capt. Manuel and his son Yoxan did a great job and made these trips unforgettable experiences. Definitely can recommend this boat!

Me my daughter n her boyfriend had great day .caught bunch of sailfish and we saw so many spinner dolphin was unbelievable. Butch n Roy were friendly and helpful and went out of there way to give us a great day on the ocean.will definitely be back again!!!

We were renting a villa for the week so we wanted to get fish for meals. Ben and Captain Manuel made it happen!!
The fishing was slow but their persistence really paid off!!
We ended up with more filets than our group could possibly eat for the week.
Boat was clean, tackle was top notch and Ben was a pleasure to fish with.
Highly recommend the Good Day charter!
