Epic Intracoastal Fishing Lately!

The inshore bite has been epic along the intracoastal waterway. Big spanish mackerel, big jacks, limits of snapper, and loads of southern senet make up a majority of the catch on our half day inshore bottom fishing trips this past few weeks. We are averaging 20 to 50 fish per trip!

Juvenile Tarpon Everywhere!

I took these two young anglers out for a half day of tarpon fishing and tge action was non stop. After a big rain, tge runoff creates a feeding frenzy and tarpon in the 10-15 lb range become abundant!

Had to fish the inter coastal waters due to high winds and heavy seas. This would’ve been just fine if we’d been able to boat more than one fish. The one snook we caught wasn’t even big enough to keep. Captain and mate were really nice and it’s not that they weren’t trying, but the captain did seem to interact more with other people we passed than with us. All in all, I feel like our day would’ve been better spent renting poles and fishing off a pier. I get that you can’t always... More

I’m terribly sorry you were not happy with your trip. I wish we could have had better weather conditions, but that is the nature of fishing. We are happy you took the option of inshore fishing instead of cancelling, but there is no way for us to predict if the fish will be biting that day or not. We tried our best by using the best baits at the best local spots and it is always frustrating when the fish don’t bite for our customers. We realize you feel like you didn’t get your money’s worth, but you have to understand that we have no control over the fishing. I feel like this negative rating is a reflection of the poor fishing that day, and not the level of professionalism that we offer on each and every charter. This is our second lowest rated review out of the hundreds we have received throughout the internet, and in my opinion it is not based on the services we offer. To anyone reading this, you have to understand that the fishing can be excellent or terrible or something in between, but you can’t judge a charter company or rate them on poor fishing experienced during one single trip. Our other reviews and 35 years in business speak for themselves…I hope you guys give us another chance some day. And I hope the fish cooperate for you next time.
