Fishing with Rick Mitchell out of Cape Vincent was an experience I won’t forget. From start to finish, Rick was professional, prepared, and incredibly knowledgeable about the waters and seasonal bass patterns. He took the time to explain techniques, adjusted to our skill levels, and made sure we were always in the best spots. The smallmouth bass action was nonstop, and the scenery was beautiful. Captain Rick did a great job working in tough conditions to try to find and catch fish. His boat is a really good fit for the river and lake with plenty of space to fish comfortably. As someone who has fished the river a long time but wanted to learn more, he openly shared techniques and spots that have worked for him that I’ll definitely try on future visits. I’d definitely go again!
