Slow fishing this afternoon but the Team delivered a few nice ones topping it off with a 75+kg Yellow Fin Tuna.

We have never been game fishing before but Captain Jayvine made it a great experience. We managed to hook a Marlin, and reel in a Tuna and Bonito. He was very knowledgeable and was super quick on getting the lines back in the water when the fish were biting.

It was also just really beautiful to be out catching fish with a sunset behind us. I would recommend Aquaman trips. You can also see the great catches his clients have achieved on his Facebook page.

We wish we could go again but we booked this at the end of our trip. But I can see how fishing becomes a hobby - very thrilling experience.

“The boat is beautiful, the communication with administrative staff is perfect, the crew are incredible. However, I would pack your own food (the samosas are delicious), but not sufficient. Although the team tried everything they could, we didn’t get any fish, but sometimes that’s just fishing.

But booking a 6 hour game and reef fishing to spend 4.5 hours on the boat, with no reef fishing is a bit of a disappointment. More out of principal than the time. Especially when there is the option of 4 hours and 5 hours big game vs 6 hours of the option to catch reef fish. The operator stated that they don’t do this in this area, and it is less to do with the time, but more to do with the coverage of trawling.

I understand that weather conditions could change plans beyond anyone’s control, and the crew did everything to ensure a catch and safe journey. But, just book low time and offer to pay more for more services or time because nobody can ensure that. Management have stated that no compensation will be given for booking a higher package due to unforeseen conditions.  Tipping is expected, which we did even though we were home an hour+ before expected, with neither of us even touching a reel.
Disappointing experience.
