This full day trip with Henry Martin of Catching dinosaurs was an awesome trip, we caught over 30 alligator gar, with 4 of them being over the 6 foot, 100 lb mark. Henry uses methods of fishing that ensure safety for the fish, and also goes out of his way to explain any safety measures about his boat and the giant fish you will be catching.  10/10 great trip thanks Henry

My twin boys had so much fun catching alligator gar! Our guide, Kyle, was amazingly patient and made sure that we all caught these amazing fish! To catch something that is bigger than you is quite the experience. My boys competed the entire time! We will cherish this moment and will talk about the “one that got away” for years to come!

Capt Henry had some boat trouble but set us up with a great friend and experienced gar angler, Capt Kyle (The Fish Whisperer) and needless to say, I am sore today from all the fish we were tangling with. Unreal experience I highly recommend for everyone. Capt Henry made 100% sure we were taken care of and Capt Kyle went above and beyond to assure the same. This is a MUST do for every avid angler and even for people who just want to see dinosaurs in real life.

My son (14 years) always wanted to catch alligator gar. We did not know where to start until he found Catching Dinosaurs on social media. He knew then we needed to contact them to arrange this trip. The trip amazing, everything we hoped for and more. Captain was incredibly knowledgable and willing to teach my son the right way of fishing alligator gar. Highly recommend Henry. Took my wife and 8 yr old step son and Henry was very patient, safe and knowledgeable of the river and the gar.  we caught several up to 5’ and had a blast.
