My friends and I went out for a half day charter and had the best time ever. Captain Michael had everything we needed, cut bait, live bait, and every rod, reel, and lure we could’ve possibly needed! We went about 14 miles out, and from the first drop, we were fish on! This is the perfect trip and experience whether you’re a beginner angler or experienced.

Captain Mike and his first mate John were nothing but professional and helpful. Made my family feel comfortable from the start. The bite was tough but we did catch fish and they did everything in there power to make sure we had a great time. We will return and we will definitely be calling Mama tried to go fishing again

My husband, son and I went fishing with Captain Mike of ‘Mama Tried’ Fishing.  It was a fun-filled morning where we caught 10 Sheephead, Grunts, and a Red Fin.  Mike met us at the launch, supplied all the gear, setup the rods, baited the lines and cleaned the fish.  Having Mike and deckhand Johnny take care of all of the details sure made for a relaxing fishing trip!  Thank you Mike!  We would highly recommend and hope to go fishing with Captain Mike again in the future!

Captain Mike and First Mate John of Mama Tried Fishing were outstanding!  I cannot recommend them enough!  The boat was nice, new and clean.  But the stars were Mike and John.  Mikes knowledge about fishing was amazing.  He took us straight out and we hit fish immediately.  My party of 6 had 4 older teens eager to fish.  He and John made this an unforgettable trip for them and me!  There is no deciding…book with Mama Tried Fishing with Capatin Mike!

Captain Mike and John were both super nice and knowledgeable about fishing. It was our first time off- shore fishing.  They were very attentive, kept our hooks baited and made sure everyone caught something! We would definitely book with them again!
