Captain Mike and John were amazing . we had so much fun, caught a ton of fish!!! the charter was super relaxing our first meet John took care of us 100% of the time offering us water and comfort. Captain Ed was THE best host. Both he and Captain Mike said they would do their best to see what they could do for us to see sharks. BOY did they deliver! Captain Mike was able to get one hooked for my husband to reel in!!! The amount of fish we caught was excellent. The day’s bonus was seeing dolphins. Excellent day on the Gulf.

Captain Mike and First Mate John of Mama Tried Fishing were outstanding!  I cannot recommend them enough!  The boat was nice, new and clean.  But the stars were Mike and John.  Mikes knowledge about fishing was amazing.  He took us straight out and we hit fish immediately.  My party of 6 had 4 older teens eager to fish.  He and John made this an unforgettable trip for them and me!  There is no deciding…book with Mama Tried Fishing with Capatin Mike!

First time ocean fishing and Captain Mike and his crew mate John were spectacular. Very informative about everything, also very patient with beginners. I would recommend Mama Tried to every one who visits Anna Maria for fishing! We caught well over 30 fish, leaving with 14 fish to eat. They clean the fish for us and everything! Overall amazing experience.
