The family went fishing, Captain Mike and his crew made it a lot of fun. We greatly enjoyed the experience. The first spot we tried, we were Catching grouper and Snapper,and it was a blast and when that slowed down. Captain Mike went to another spot.  And we caught a lot more fish, and they were big. We are glad we chose Mama tried fishing, because captain Mike is an experienced captain with more than just one fishing spot.

Overall great trip escaping the cold northern weather. Friendly captain with knowledge of where to put us on fish. Nice wide berth center console boat, so plenty of room for everyone. Everyone caught nice Red Grouper, and he also put us on Vermillion and Lane Snapper. Had a great time on the water and off enjoying our fresh catch for dinners. Highly recommend reaching out to Mike if you are in the area.

I’ve hired Mama Tried Fishing on several occasions - never have I been disappointed. Captain Mike and his crew are both knowledgeable and friendly, and always safe. I’ve been so impressed, I made it a focal point of a summer family trip - the kids loved it, caught a bunch, and always ask when can we do it again. Give It a Try - you’ll be glad you did.

The Capitan Mike is very knowledgeable. The crew was a blast. Went for grouper and got a few. They where there and biting. When the grouper weren’t biting we wore ourselves out on lanes. Fun day would definitely recommend a trip with these guys. Mama Tried is a very nice boat and comfortable.
