From what we read online we thought we would be targeting bigger fish and thought we would be going further out than we did. We could see land from where we fished. To pay that much and not catch anything other than what we could catch from a pier was not a good experience. It was very disappointing. I would not recommend.

I hate to hear that. My listing clearly shows that we target redfish, flounder, speckled trout, white trout, black drum, and sheepshead. It also states that this is an inshore trip. Inshore means you are inside of the shore lines. Offshore would be out of sight of land. This is not an offshore trip, and nowhere does it give that impression. I always target big fish like the inshore species listed on my listing. I realize that you and your crew had a day where you didn’t bring home lots of keeper fish. But we went through lots of bait and caught fish in every place we went. It wasn’t always the fish you wanted, and that was unfortunate, but I can’t choose which fish bites the bait. To give crew (me) and my boat such a low rating is hurtful to not only me but my business. I go above and beyond for each one of my trips. My boat is clean with comfortable seating for all and top-notch equipment. Which is also stated and pictured in the listing. Fishing is tough some days. But my morning trip on the same day you fished caught several redfish, sheepshead, speckled trout, and black drum. Next time, just be sure to read the listing clearly where you book because if it says inshore like mine does you will be in sight of land all day. Offshore trips cost thousands of dollars more than your trip did. I hope your next trip either at the pier or with a captain is better for you.
