I’m very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your trip. It was my goal to provide you with the best possible outcome I could with the 25 mph wind conditions that were given. I would also like to clarify for anyone who reads this and is thinking about booking a trip that you and your wife sat together in the seat in front of the console and your children sat on the coolers in front of that seat with no problem whatsoever. My boat has a center console that is 41 inches wide and seats two people in front of it as well as 2 independent 162 quart coolers that can seat 4 people. I use coolers that I can rearrange on the boat so I can accommodate people that have handicaps or disabilities like being in a wheelchair Etc. Also, when fishing inshore waters there is no safety procedure meeting. That is only mandatory on offshore fishing charters. I still wish you and your family the best even though you tipped me and said you had a great time but in your review can’t recommend anyone to go out with me.

Jeremy,  you booked a tarpon/shark trip. The weather was not favorable for tarpon fishing with the 15-20mph winds we had. This left us only one option and that was to anchor up and fish for shark. The sharks in this area favor mullet and mackerel witch is what we were using for bait. The frayed leader that you spoke of and that I was aware of was on a rod we were not using. That outfit was for tarpon and had smaller leader and hook on it and was not conducive for shark fishing. That is why I wasn’t using it because there was no point to use it and why would you care about equipment that your not using??? The spot we fished is a very good spot for shark, but yes, some times they don’t always bite well. It’s call fishing Jeremy not catching. Last thing, if you have been on ten charters and on this one you didn’t get to catch your intended fish, well, that means 90% of the time you have. I don’t know anybody that fishes and gets exactly what they wanted 9 out of ten times. Most fisherman would love to have those odds. You are incredibly blessed with those odds and judging by your last sentences probably a little spoiled too.

I couldn’t agree more with you Alan, especially when that fish bowl contains no tarpon. Which coincidently, is what I told you the night before 3 times during our phone conversation. I was Crystal clear when I told you there were no tarpon around and you had literally 0% chance of catching one. This is the reason I do not offer tarpon fishing trips until may. You did not book a tarpon fishing trip you booked a 4 hr back Bay fishing trip. I Made you aware of this and tried multiple times to talk you out of fishing for them and even said we should cancel the trip, but you insisted on going out anyway knowing that I had told you that we were not going to catch one. You even had the gaul to ask me in the morning when we met what I thought our chances were going to be on catching one.  I again told you “not a chance”.  You said you didn’t care as long as you could wet A-line you would be happy, so we went. We went 2 for 3 on sharks, and I gave you a little extra time.  Simply put Alan, you are a victim of your own ego and should really have listen to me when I advises you on what the fishing situation was instead of bashing me on here just because what I said came true.
