- Captain Steve Brown is a Tennessee native. Growing up, Steve spent most of his time hunting and fishing the banks of the Tennessee River. When Steve graduated with a degree in theology, he went to professionally guide hunting trips in central Montana. But the waters of the ‘World’s Luckiest Fishing Village’ have always been his dream. Steve moved to Destin in 2001 and began learning from other captains and anglers along the Emerald Coast. Eventually, he won ‘Captain of the Year’ in 2011 and the world famous ‘Destin Fishing Rodeo.’
