Deckhand was very knowledgeable and kind. The captain on the other hand was horrible!! He constantly yelled at us and almost caused a physical confrontation with one of us. The gear continued to fail and he would yell at us as if it was our fault that it failed. He put us on EMPTY locations constantly! For $1,800 you would think Tradewinds would have planned a better trip. We all left feeling as if the captain did it on purpose because it sure seemed like he did. I’m sorry but I would never recommend someone to throw away so much time and money. I wasn’t expecting a record catch but this was awful. We drew a blank on the first 2 locations. I’ll be back to destin but would never ride with Tradewinds ever again. $1,800 down the drain.

The crew was attentive and did whatever they could to make it an enjoyable experience.  They moved from place to place to maximize our catch.

The only negative was that one of the two engines was having trouble and we weren’t able to go out as far as we wanted.  The owner offered to make it up to us the next time we came to Destin, but offered no partial refund.
