We were looking for a fun excursion for our family of five while visiting the Bahamas. We stumbled upon Cozy Waters on www.fishingbooker.com and they had the best deal for what we were looking for. You can rent the boat for up to eight hours with a captain and mate, and do an assortment of activities. We could go fishing, squeeze in swimming, snorkeling, hanging with the pigs at Pigs Beach. This was like an all inclusive boat excursion!

We met George, the owner and captain of Cozy Waters at the marina early in the morning at 8am. His son, Devonte was his mate. They both couldn’t have been more hospitable. George and Devonte were incredibly friendly, attentive, caring, patient, personable, accommodating, and overall WONDERFUL!!! They both were so good with our kids.

We started the day by heading out for some fishing. Caught tons of fish, maybe like 20-25 fish all day with an assortment of grunts, trigger fish and strawberry grouper. They helped explain and guide us the best way to reel in the fish and it obviously worked because all of us caught tons of fish.

After fishing, we went to a private island to go exploring and swimming while George cooked the fish we caught. The water was crystal clear and so clean. Devonte even brought a beach ball and played with the kids. I love that! When lunch was ready, we went back on the boat to eat. George did a great job cooking the fish because we all scarfed it down. He cooked the fish with onions and green peppers with seasonings and it was delicious. There was so much fish, we got seconds.

After the private island, we went to an area to look for turtles. Saw a big one. Then we headed off to the coral reef for snorkeling. They provided us with life jackets, goggles, flippers and snorkels. It was cool.

After snorkeling, we stopped by Pig’s Beach to hang with the pigs. This was a unique experience but wouldn’t plan our day around the swimming with the pigs alone. Not worth it. You can pay to hang on the island with the pigs or you can pay more to feed them.

At this point, the time was 3pm and we had the boat until 4pm but everyone was exhausted so we called it a day. George went above and beyond and was able to bring us back to a marina close to our hotel at Margaritaville. That saved us money on a taxi too. We paid the balance on this experience and tipped George and Devonte for the wonderful service.

We were so happy with this whole experience and glad we found Cozy Waters. We saw a few other boats at Pigs Beach and I have to say some of those boats were a bit sketchy. We trust George and Devonte 100% and would recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of experience. They are worth every penny. Check them out and BOOK THEM ASAP!!! You won’t be sorry. Thanks guys for a great time. The kids can’t stop talking about this trip!!! They said this was the best part of our Bahamas trip.
