Our fishing trip in Playa del Carmen far exceeded expectations. Within just an hour and a half, we had caught eight fish—the action was nonstop! Honestly, we started getting tired from reeling them in and found ourselves ready to call it a day just to go enjoy some well-earned ceviche. The crew was professional, the gear was solid, and the waters were incredibly generous.

During our stay in Playa del Carmen, we booked a 4-hour fishing trip with The Boat team — and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was top-notch from start to finish. The captain and his mate were incredibly friendly, professional, and did a great job communicating in English.

The boat itself was very well equipped and comfortable, making the experience all the more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to be out on the water during a fishing tournament, so the atmosphere was filled with excitement and competition all around us.

The highlight of our trip? We managed to catch a white marlin after an intense 20-minute fight — an experience we’ll never forget. We also hooked a sailfish, but it managed to escape at the last moment. Still, the thrill was real!

We booked this trip last minute due to the weather causing cancellations and delays with other guides, and we couldn’t have gotten a better outcome!!! All three of the guides were so enthusiastic, uplifting, and had an infectious sense of happiness to them. They were all incredibly passionate about helping my sons catch some fish and they made sure it happened. They were very attentive and made sure we were always okay, had everything we needed, and constantly checked to see if my sons would like to do anything differently. They were just trying to ensure everyone was happy and they didn’t fail in the slightest. Overall our trip was amazing and we would DEFINITELY go with them again. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience for a family of 5 looking to do a little fishing and snorkeling. Everyone got in on the action boating at least 1 fish. A few mahi mahi were kept for a meal and once the waves got to a few of us, switched gears to snorkeling. The crew did a great job of getting us set up and quickly we were surrounded by fish and a sea turtle. Once in the water, we had a great time. Ceviche lunch was also a hit!  Best day of our week in Mexico!!  Thank you so much!!

I sent my daughter, son in law and two grandsons on this trip. The office sent me messages throughout the day, telling me when they were out in the boat, when they were snorkeling, and when they caught a fish. My kids told me they had a great time. The snorkeling was incredible and they saw so much. The caught a fish which was cut up and for dinner. Worth every penny!
