⭐️ The Boat Sport Fishing ⭐️ 

Man did we have a good time on our fishing trip! I can't say enough how great the crew was. We didn't have the best bite but Captain and Crew adjusted throughout the day to ensure we caught some fish. WE did everything from trolling deep water, trolling shallow water, to bottom fishing for a bit. We caught a variety of fish including Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, and Jack Fish. Would have only been happier with a better bite but the boat and crew made the trip worth it. Afterwards, the crew cut everything up and recommended a local spot to have the fish prepared 3 different ways before we headed back. I couldn't recommend that experience enough. It was amazing! All-in-all, you'd struggle to find a better crew! Thanks for the awesome trip!

A buddy and I booked a 6 hour trip, and it was incredible. Trip started at 7am, and by 7:45 we had a sailfish and a gorgeous mahi. It was so cool watching the guys continually make adjustments to the gear and techniques as we changed depths and areas. They explained what they were doing, and it was so cool to learn why. We stopped to bottom fish for bait, and then we headed to their honey hole and caught 15-20 big triggerfish. You couldn’t find three better guys to get you out on the water. Thanks again, fellas!

What a terrific day. Truly memorable. Always apprehensive when booking a trip based solely on reviews and not having had personal recommendations- but there was no reason to be. The day was totally excellent. We had windy conditions and quite a large swell but within an hour a Mahi Mahi was in the boat and so too a large Sailfish of around 35kg. 30 min later and a larger Sailfish arrived. Arm aching stuff. No other boats were catching so hats off to the skipper - his 14 yrs experience paying dividends. After another MM lost at the boat we bottom fished for some trigger fish and snapper (for lunch) which was great fun and non stop action. Captain took us to a beautiful bay for lunch where he made the most incredible ceviche. Best meal so far. In addition on this trip i saw large turtles, a huge stingray, remora, flying fish, frigate birds, a pelican sat next to me on the boat, and then to cap it off capitan filleted my snapper and mahi mahi and my family and I had the most wonderful meal and the adjacent restaurant. Just a magical day. Thank you capitan - incredible memories made

The captain had help from Mariano and David. We had an issue getting a Taxi in the morning (Communication Issue). I messaged the boat, and they responded quickly. We showed up about a half hour late, and the Captain and crew were happily waiting for us. We were trolling within minutes of leaving shore. We trolled for a couple of hours with no success. Seemed like other boats were having a similar morning. The captain then had us bottom fish for a bit. We brought in trigger fish and a banana fish, and a big Cuda! The seas were choppy, but the captain did a great job maneuvering through the water! We would happily fish with this boat again!

Exceptional fishing trip on the ocean! The captain and crew were extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish. They were fantastic with my kids and really took the time to help them catch fish as well. We ended up catching a ton of triggerfish (including one huge one!) and a few other smaller fish. Considering the weather wasn’t great, we did really well. We also had a 5-year-old on board, and he absolutely loved getting to drive the boat. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we really appreciated that they cleaned the fish for us when we got back. They also recommended a local restaurant where we brought the fish, and they cooked it up for amazing fish tacos—so delicious! We would absolutely use this company again when we return and highly recommend them.

we originally booked our trip for a tuesday. however the owner kept his eye on the weather and kept us informed it may be best to reschedule. so thankfully we were able to. we purchased the gimme all package. we were picked up at our resort beach were wisked away to begin fishing. not a lot of sucess but we and the crew had fun. made it to snorkel and saw Maria the sea turtle. the guys made a wonderful lunch for us. we’ve never had ceviche but thankful we tried it. made with one of the fish we caught that morning. wouldnt hesitate to book again if we are in the area or recommend to a friend.

Wow - what an amazing experience!! The communication and booking in advance was super easy and convenient. Meeting Yovani and crew was easy and in no time we were on the ocean. We hooked up fish within the first hour and the action did not stop. We were a group of 2 adults and one four year old. There was plenty of room on the boat, we had reshreshments and snacks. The team offered to go snorkelling but we decided against as the action did not stop. From 7:30 to 3pm, we caught: 15 red snappers, 3 trigger fish, 2 amberjacks, 2 black snappers, 1 baracuda, and 1 grouper. At the end of the day they were able to drop us off at our resort. The team was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly reccomend - wonderful and memorable experience!!

You will be in great hands with The Boat. Our family of four had an amazing morning on the water. We trolled and caught bonito tuna, found a school of triggerfish while bottom fishing, and even made a sea turtle friend during a brief snorkel. On the way back, we landed more bonito and a king mackerel. The crew was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. Communication with the owner was fast, clear, and transparent, and they were incredibly accommodating when we ran into an unexpected situation. That level of care really stood out. You’ll be in very good hands with The Boat. They’re a high quality, trustworthy local business, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone fishing out of Playa del Carmen.

My girlfriend and I went out with Jovany and his crew. We did a half day trip with a mix of snorkeling. She had no experience fishing and they were patient and helpful as they assisted her landing her first fish. We were unsuccessful trolling but landed many when we started bottom fishing. Jovany told us about the fish we were catching, and the nature around us. He and his crew were fast at adjusting our lines and keeping them baited so we could maximize our short time (4hrs, if you have the money do the full 8 I was sad when the trip ended). The snorkeling was great my girlfriend enjoyed it and the reef was home to many creatures. We saw a large turtle that came right up to the boat and swam around us. I highly recommend this boat and crew for all levels of skill. I’ve been on many charters in the pacific north west of Canada and Jovany was the best guide I have met. At the end of out trip he organized a local chef in a very nice restaurant to cook us a 3 course meal with the fish we caught. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip. He made ceviche, a simple fire grilled preparation, and a beer battered preparation. Great day and will be the highlight of our trip. Next time we are in PDC we will book back in with Jovany. He also provided beer, and water. He was quick to reply via the fishing booker app. Sadly as we got off the boat my girlfriends phone fell in the water. Jovany, his crew, and some of the local fisherman were relentless in their search. They were dedicated to trying to help us. Very, very nice guys and a great crew to spend a day on the water with.

had an awesome day on the water! caught probably 20-30 trigger fish and a 30lb amberjack. could have caught even more but asked the captain if we could go trolling for some bigger fish. captain was honest that it wasnt the season and probably wouldnt catch anything, but we had already caught soo many fish we were willing to gamble. Was so nice having the flexibility to try for different fish and Captain Jovany was willing to do whatever we asked of him. communication from start to fish was awesome and will definitely book with captain Jovany next time were in Cancun!
