This was my second time fishing and I was not disappointed!! Captain Jorge put us on fish right away…when fishing slowed down we had a great time snorkeling on a reef where we saw turtles and sting rays, we also ran into a little weather and captain Jorge kept us safe. Thank you captain Jorge

Our experience with The Rusty Hook was awesome!  We booked a full day out on the water with our two young daughters (4 & 6yrs).  As usual we were running late getting everyone out the door but Daniel and Robert were waiting patiently when we finally arrived.  We didn’t want to ‘bore’ the girls by spending the day trolling so we headed out to shallows and immediately hooked into Trigger fish on light tackle which the kids totally enjoyed.  We then went over to a reef and snorkled with wild Turtles and Stingrays.  We also snorkled around ‘cenotes’ coming out of the sea floor.  When we swam back to the boat, Daniel had prepared the Trigger fish into Ceviche for lunch.  The girls were thrilled that they caught and ate their own lunch… it was delicious.  Daniel and Robert were friendly and amenable to anything we wanted to do or go.  Although we didn’t go game fishing on this trip, the gear I saw was all new and well maintained.  Penn Reels and new line on the spools.  Would highly recommend the trip to get out on the water.
