I had such a blast fishing for cobia with Andrew with Salty Goat last year that I decided to book again for my girlfriend’s birthday, who is highly prone to sea sickness. He was super helpful with tips to overcome it leading up to the trip and was open to changing up our plan based on how she felt. We went offshore and caught a few kings and despite the day being fairly calm, the girlfriend got sick and we had to head closer to shore. Captain Andrew was very accommodating and asked for our input on a few options. We asked if we could target tarpon and bull reds and he did not disappoint! He worked very hard to keep us rigged up and on top of the fish at all times. We had over 6 tarpon up to the boat and had fun fighting many more! The boat and the gear itself elevated the experience even more. All of his rods are premium blanks customized by his self and reels were smooth. Seems silly to call out but that refined gear really makes it all the better. Highly recommend this guide for people new to it or even experienced anglers looking to learn something new.

He kept us on the fish all afternoon. We caught 4 species, including a number of tarpon (a fun fight, and so cool to see their “acrobatics”), redfish, and a monster kingfish at the end. Andrew was a great communicator and was super patient with our son.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water and we will most definitely book with Andrew again when we are back in town.

My dad flew in to visit me and we wanted to go catch some fish. We decided to do the 4 hour trip and it was EPIC. In 4 hours we caught over 5 species, this included an absolute monster sheepshead, multiple bull redfish, Spanish mackerel, and even jumped a tarpon. Captain Drew treated us as family and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. All high end fishing gear as well as hand built custom fishing rods made by captain drew. I HIGHLY recommend booking a trip with Captain Drew!

Andrew was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
He was rigging our fishing lines faster than we could reel in fish. He had a great personality. We would have fish till dark if it wasn’t for the shark.
Sharks took at least a dozen of our fish, but we brought a lot home and my wife was very happy about that. This was a special trip for my brother and me which I hadn’t seen in three years and it was a great day. Thank you, Andrew.
