Don’t let the Name fool you. Plan B was and will always be my first plan for a day fishing in Cancun. My friend Dan and I could not have been more impressed by The Captain and First mate of Plan B charters. They were Friendly and very knowledgeable and willing to answer our many questions. We caught Amber Jack , Mahi Mahi, Trigger fish and barracuda. had an opportunity at a sailfish but I personally messed that up.

This was the second time we went out with Captain Alberto and, guided by their expertise and skill, reeled in blackfin tuna, wahoo, mackerel and grouper. We learn so much and have a fabulous time—including a meal of the fish afterward!  (Honestly who else do you know who is both a lifetime fisherman AND a chef??)—and will be booking again very soon. We enjoyed the lagoon fishing for one morning. Alberto was a great guide. He was friendly, knew the waters well and was very helpful. We caught snook and barracuda. Even my wife said she had a fun time. The fact the charter departed right from the Isla Cancun Mall docks was convenient and a bonus.

Amazing day on the water, cut short because of my weak stomach. Alberto and his deck hand showed great knowledge and passion about fishing, and would recommend to all level of anglers, experienced to beginners.  These guys will get you on trophy fish.

My husband and I booked for my husband’s birthday. We had an incredible time. Alberto was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We caught a black fin tuna,  a barracuda, and a kingfish. Highly recommend Alberto and Plan B Charters.
