Hi, John! From Blues to Flounder to Sea Robins, we caught a lot of fish, today. Aside from a strong NW wind and an AM chill, conditions were pretty nice, too. Yesterday’s four foot breakers flattened out and we were able to fish my spot. You guys were great fishers and just fun to fish with. I loved seeing John smiling as he cast out metal lures and pulled in schoolie bluefish. So…we had an awesome trip! First, this was an upscale “Top Shelf” gear trip. We started out with economy fishing gear and moved up to the Shimano, St Croix and Daiwa gear. Pete happened to be fishing a St. Croix Mojo rod, Med. Light,  with a BG 2000 reel when he hooked into a monster Cow-Nose ray. Pete really had to use his fishing skills and patience to finesse this strong animal up to the boat. After almost 20 minutes, this beast finally tired and submitted for an “at the boat” release. That light-weight rod/reel combo proved its’ strength and value. Afterwards, we headed out to the inlet where BIG ROLLERS were breaking. Immediately upon dropping, everyone hooked up with sea bass, flounders and sea robins. The current kept sucking us towards the breakers. Standing up was difficult. We spent about 30 minutes catching and then moved back inside where the other boars were stacked up. We definitely had some fishing action on this trip and I also got to enjoy the company of two really great anglers. Receiving a 5-star review is a reward I cherish! Thank you! Thank you, Jaime! You guys were a pleasure to fish with. What a trip! I’m not exaggerating when I say we caught fish almost non-stop…I had to drink a Red Bull! So first, you can see the water was a gorgeous clear green. Next, we were catching two fish at a time. Then, we even got in some trolling to catch 16” bluefish. So, we caught flounder, bluefish, sea bass and sea robins. For two hours, that’s completely fantastic! I’m glad I could offer a FIVE STAR adventure for your family.
