First, I salute Taylor for his service to our Country. His commitment to America provides the blanket of freedom and security which allows all of us Americans to…go fishing with their children. Thank you, Sir! 🇺🇸  Next, we left the dock early to get s jump on the fish. Unfortunately, the flounder just weren’t biting. That was frustrating, but my Father’s Day crew kept at it for 2 hours. Strong!
Our initial venture into the calm GE Inlet offered no glory as far as working birds, so flounder became our 2nd target. We fished some good spots, but no action.  I scooted back out to the inlet, as Sun had gotten a bit higher,  and observed 50+ seagulls frantically screaming and diving. We had two trolling lines with a Hogy and YoZuri lure ready to go and thought it was “Game on!” Nope! These fish were 30’ deep and only surfacing sporadically and then racing around. With time running short, we drifted some Gulp along Longport jetty and took a few hits. We didn’t get totally “skunked”, and the saltwater excitement, full sun, low wind, quietness of the calm ocean and views made you glad to be alive on a gorgeous Father’s Day with your son. As Captain, I was happy to be fishing with these two on such a gorgeous morning and holiday. Thank you for chartering and the 5-Star review,, Taylor and Ian! 💯🇺🇸🎣 —Capt. Chris
