Hey George, I apologize that you didn’t have the experience you were looking for. Having a late start and stiff northeast wind, I made the decision to fish structure along the beach based on the days of fishing prior. We made a 40+ mile round trip all the way to Waveland from Gulfport and back searching for some of the speckled trout you were after, but couldn’t connect that day. I’m glad your grandsons were able to fill the box with 40 or 50 white trout in the end to salvage the trip. I appreciate your feedback!
