Captain Toño had us dialed in. 5 minutes into the trip, we get a double hookup on bonitas for my daughter and I. The rest of the slow troll produced nothing. We get to the grounds where the rooster fish are and we fished until we ran out of live bait. We caught 2 rooster fish and then a crevalle jack bit and that was a really long fight. At the very end aboter bonita but on a dead ballyhoo. We cut the trip short since we ran out of live bait. My only issue was that I was charged $30 for live bait and I clearly saw the captain only give 20 for the bait which yielded 4 mullet and a ballyhoo. If we had more bait, I would’ve been willing to use the entire time I purchased. My daughter did say she loved fishing while on this trip so Im still giving it 5 stars

Fantastic guide and fishing trip, took a couple of kids for their first salt water fishing trip and it was perfect. With a smaller boat we did not go out as far but was great for beginners. Caught a dozen blackfin and saw tons of fish. For the price, this matched the description and met expectations. Only downside and this is not on the guide, but the fish cleaning station after the experience seemed like a scam - ask about pricing before cleaning or see if the guide can help negotiate before going.

My brother and I went out with captain Tony on 11/25 for a half day trip. We left a little earlier (6:30am) and honestly if we could have gone earlier than that we would have.

Fish were biting great in the morning and within 10 mins of leaving the marina we have already hooked 2 Spanish mackerel and a few amberjacks. Shortly after we caught a rooster fish which we had cleaned and ate for lunch at Senor Frogs. After that came the Dorado, a 4’ beast which put up quite the fight. I will definitely have him mounted!

While on the water we also got to enjoy views of the arch, saw a few whales, pelicans, and sea lions.

Overall a fantastic trip!

This trip is perfect for 1 person. The captain was very knowledgeable about the waters and did a great job finding fish. As we got passed lands end we caught some bonito. About an hour later we caught a roosterfish. Then we caught some hammerhead sharks and a dorado. We also hooked a marlin but it spit the hook out. Overall it was a great day and I recommend this trip as a cheaper option that provides the same cabo fishing experience as the expensive charters.

We had an excellent time today. The reason I gave it 4 stars was not because of the captain. Giovanni was excellent and worked his butt off. He helped us land my husband’s first striped marlin. It was only due to the fact that I requested to fish for snapper and rooster fish and that there was a toilet onboard (like the fishing booker suggested), but he did not bring any gear to fish for that only to troll for marlin, wahoo, dorado and tuna, nor was there a baño. It was fine, and like I said he worked his butt off, and we did catch a fish. When the bite slowed, he striped the lines and got us to a place to jig for snappers and pulled out some tackle that would work.

We saw tons of porpoises and whales as an added bonus. All the tackle worked well, and the boat was clean and comfortable. He was an excellent captain.
