Explore some of the most fish-rich Mexican waters off the coast of Cabo San Lucas with Sushi Time Sport Fishing! With over 15 years of experience in these abundant waters, the crew will make sure you have a memorable time and a productive trip.
You'll go out on one of their 23' Super Panga sportfishing boats. These seaworthy fishing boats are made out of heavy-duty fiberglass. They're powered by four-stroke outboard engines (with Suzuki and Yamaha engines being the preferred brands for the Sushi Time fleet). Up to 3 people can comfortably fish at the same time.
You'll be using a variety of rods and reels, including tackle by Daiwa, Shimano, and Penn International. Live bait is $20.The crew will be happy to clean and fillet your catch for an extra charge, so you can have a nice dinner upon your return.
The seasoned, bilingual, native captains will do everything they can to provide a fishing experience you won't forget. All Sushi Time captains are certified by Cabo's Port Authority and have also been certified in first aid.
Some of the targeted species include the likes of Roosterfish, Amberjack, Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Shark, Tuna, Triggerfish, and Wahoo. The tepid waters of the Sea of Cortez blend with the Pacific to provide an impressive variety of big game species, with quality fishing often available throughout the year.
Fishing licenses are not included in the price and stand at $20 per person, with a dock fee of $2. You should also bring some food and drinks to stay refreshed, as well as some sunscreen to protect you from sunburn.

This was the second time we booked with sushi time. We got paired with the same captain (Tony) as the previous time which was nice. We spent a lot of time trolling for tuna, did some bottom fishing for yellowtail then spent the remainder of the day slow trolling live bait for Roosterfish. We saw a ton of fish, but no takers. Ended up also seeing a turtle swimming which was the highlight of the day. We love to be on the ocean and catching fish is a bonus. Will book this trip again the next time we're in Cabo
Thank you so much for coming back out with us, we really appreciate you choosing us again. It was great to have you with Captain Tony once more. Sounds like one of those classic Cabo days… lots of action around, plenty to see, but the fish just weren't in the mood. That's fishing sometimes, but getting to troll for tuna, try bottom fishing for yellowtail and then go after roosterfish all in one trip makes for a pretty full day on the water. And spotting a turtle out there… that's always something special. We love that you enjoy the whole experience, not just the catch. That's what it's all about. We'll be ready for you next time… and hopefully the fish will cooperate a little more.
We came down from Fairbanks, Alaska for our anniversary and I wanted to try some real Cabo fishing. Sushi Time Fishing delivered big time. Booked the Sushi Time II panga boat and it was perfect, just us, the captain, and the open water. Less than an hour out trolling live bait, we hooked up with a striped marlin pushing 7 feet. Captain Pedro knew exactly what he was doing. The fish put up one hell of a fight, 45 minutes of jumps, runs, and deep dives but Pedro kept the boat in position and talked us through every move. Finally got her boatside and Pedro pulled it in. On the way back he radioed the dock, and by the time we pulled in the processor was already there waiting. Gricelda's Smokehouse cleaned it, froze it, and vacuum-sealed everything so we can haul it home to Alaska without any headaches. Super smooth. The panga is small but was comfortable for the two of us and felt just right for getting into fish quick. No need to get a large cabin cruiser for two people. Juan Carlos handled all the booking and was very responsive. He is super professional and made everything easy. If you're coming down on vacation and want a legit, no-BS fishing day in Cabo, this the outfit. We'll definitely be back next time in Cabo. Highly recommend. Solid 10/10

a had a lot of fun fishing with sushi time. our captain was very kind and got us hooked on two dorado! we even got a tuna early on but it got away. unfortunately we couldnt get a marlin even though we saw it jumping in the water. they just werent hungy i guess! the last 2 hours were slow but our captain tried his best to mix it up. overall i had a very fun trip! the price is worth it and they really do try to explain everything in detail so make sure you read the texts and emails!
Very organized and clear with instructions. the extra charges (licenses, bait , dock fee) was annoying, but whatever. Pay in USD or you get a horrible exchange rate. The trip was good. Tony was a good guide, and took us out to a few spots. Caught a couple and then landed a shark which was pretty cool and a workout to reel in. the boat was small but it was fine. all in all, worth the money and would recommend it to those looking for a half day trip!

I've been fishing for as long as I can remember and I am an avid flyfisher in southern California where the fishing sucks. So I know there are good and bad days when fishing.This was my first time using fishingbooker. I booked a half day am trip with Sushi Time. The whole experience was great for me! We landed 8 fish total. 4 Rooster fish and 4 Bonitos. I lost a few others and had a few other fish stolen from sealions. Juan was great to deal with. I would recommend him and will book again in the future.
