I wanted to share my positive experience from a recent fishing trip. It was a great success, and we caught our maximum on the targeted species. Captain Ruben was exceptionally flexible, especially when we needed to add multiple anglers at the last minute. I highly recommend Captain Ruben to anyone considering a fishing trip in South Padre Island (SPI).

This was our 17 year old’s birthday adventure with his dad.  They had a great time and caught our dinner!  There was a wee bit of competition…who caught the biggest v who caught the most.  Great way to spend the morning!  Thanks Captain Ruben!

We had an awesome time with this charter.  Captain Ruben is a great guide and will make sure everyone has a great time.  He’s really accommodating and is always willing to help any way he can.  He knows great fishing spots and is extremely helpful when it comes to catching fish, teaching fishing techniques, filleting fish, etc.  We highly recommend taking a fishing trip with Captain Ruben!

Our group of four had an amazing day on the water. First cast out and we brought in a fish. The captain was very knowledgeable and kept us on fish. He took the time to teach us about each spot we fished and where we should be casting. He went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish we were able to keep. The boat is new and spotless. I can’t recommend this enough!
