The bite was strong and the fish immediately stayed deep, pulling heavy with solid power and stubborn head shakes. It tried hard to get back into the reef, making the fight technical and exciting. With steady pressure and good teamwork on board, we managed to bring this thick, trophy-sized Emperor safely to the boat. After that, we moved on to jigging — and the action got even more intense. A sudden aggressive strike loaded up the rod instantly, followed by unstoppable runs. This was pure GT power! The Giant Trevally fought hard from start to finish, showing exactly why it’s one of the most respected sport fish in the world. Landing two trophy species in one trip — a Longnose Emperor and a GT — made this day truly special.
