Background: Captain John is a second-generation fisherman who served in United States Coast Guard. He grew up in the bay, so being a fisherman is something that came naturally to him! He has fished in this area all of his life, and loves targeting anything from Rockfish to Red Drum to Mackerel, but especially Striped Bass. He spent some time as a businessman working in the catering industry, and now that he's retired he loved nothing more than spending his time fishing and introducing new and experienced anglers alike to these waters.

Demond, I am sorry you didn’t have a better time. As I explained we cannot allow you to smoke Marijuana on the boat. If you just want to get stoned, I agree that it would be cheaper to stay home.

Capt ended trip early after falsely accusing a member of our party of being “too drunk” without any warning. Person in question was not a danger to himself or anybody else. So this came as a shock and surprise to everyone. Accused him of stumbling even though boat was rocking violently for several portions of our trip causing everyone including the first mate to lose balance. Steve and his group arrived at 6 a.m. and began drinking at 6:30. After noticing the clients drinking out of a Mason jar and another unmarked bottle, I approached them and asked if they were drinking hard liquor. I was told by Steve that they were not. I explained to them at that time that hard liquor was not allowed on board. By 11:00 a.m. the music was blaring the customers were screaming at one another to talk, and one individual was so drunk that he was hanging over the gunwale because he could no longer stand up. It was at that time that I decided to end the trip.
On the way back to the slip two of the customers decided to harass a female slip holder by yelling
“HEY BABBY, ILL BE BACK”. Once we were docked, I had to threaten to call the Maryland Marine Police in order to get paid. We have rules that need to be followed in order to ensure the safety of our clients. I did my job I brought you home safely!
