He was very unfriendly the whole trip and rude to our children. He speaks excellent English but didn’t even attempt small talk the whole 4 hours. He wouldn’t accommodate any request I made when I asked to fish for a different type of fish along with tarpon. The boat was small and didn’t have any shade. He had only 1 pole going the whole time so of course it was not very eventful or exciting. We caught 3 small tarpons, when I asked about trying a different spot he shut me down insisting there’s big tarpon. We also towed another boat for about 30 min of our trip. Nice gesture, but don’t do that on our time!

This isn’t our first fishing charter, in fact it’s our 8th with small children and we’ve never had this big of a flop. Hate to give a bad review, but I feel tricked by the misleading reviews for this charter, so thought I’d give our honest experience. Feel like we lit $500 on fire that day.

Got skunked but the captain stayed an extra hour to try and hook up with a fish. I appreciate the extra effort,even if we didn’t get a bite.
