Background: I am the owner and the operator of Corks And Croakers and I have been fishing the Galveston Bay complex for over 15 years. Boating, fishing, and being on the water are the things I enjoy the most. I have participated in many charity tournaments and guided many anglers in preparation for such competitions. My biggest catch is a 29 inch Speckled Trout.
Techniques: I like to teach anglers the art of live bait fishing to be more successful on the water or off the bank. I enjoy throwing artificial baits as well.

The trip was a very good experience. The captain was very nice and helpful. He made sure that we were satisfied and he even let us fish longer than we were supposed to. We caught many kinds of fish, and plenty of fish. Would recommend for anyone who wants a fun fishing experience

First, let me say that Captain Mike is amazing. Super nice, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, and just a good man. We caught a good amount of fish today. Even if we didn’t catch anything, the trip was still worth it. We caught, drum, redfish, and trout. Captain Mike always let us know what to do, and we were very successful. Great trip, and we highly recommend!!

The entire trip with Capt. Mike was excellent. Communication before the trip was great. Pre-trip planning was good. Capt. Mike was at the ramp and waiting for us for an on time departure. While we were experienced fishermen, Mike provided us with some tips that will make us better. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he put us on fish with limits of reds and drum. Will definitely book again.

It was a tougher day out on the water, but Captain Mike was still able to put us on some fish. I had told him I had never caught a redfish and we did just that. My wife had never been fishing before and of course, had much better luck and caught more than I did which made it fun for everyone aboard. Captain Mike was very personable and made you feel at ease even when the action on the water slowed down. Had a great time! Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I’m glad I got you on some reds. Definitely needed more big bites but the rat reds are a lot of fun also. April has always been known for wind and tough fishing. I always try to make the best of what we get to work with. Look forward to having you and Sarah on the boat again. Thanks again for fishing with me. I enjoyed working with Sarah to get her casting and hooked up. She did great. Congratulations on your 26” bruiser slot red.
