Boating, fishing, and being on the water are the things I enjoy the most. I have participated in many charity tournaments and guided many anglers in preparation for such competitions. My biggest catch is a 29 inch Speckled Trout.
Techniques: I like to teach anglers the art of live bait fishing to be more successful on the water or off the bank. I enjoy throwing artificial baits as well.

Had a blast fishing with Captain Mike. He made sure we got full stringer of redfish and trout for our tournament we were in. Great trip for new anglers or experienced angler. Will definitely be back fishing with him again.

We had an amazing trip! Mike was great. We Caught a bunch of fish on a day that was tough for all of the other boats. Mike is full of knowledge and he was good about sharing it with us, educating us as we fished. This was the perfect trip. Mike is a great guide, provided quality equipment and a really nice boat. We’ll be back for sure.

Captain Mike kept us on fish throughout the day. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced with live bait fishing. The one critique we have is that he seemed to get irritated when the beginner fishermen on our trip made mistakes. However, he kept us moving to new spots every time the bite slowed down and gave us all the information we needed to successfully fish this area in the future. Thanks for leaving a detailed and accurate review. I’m very good at what I do. However I don’t suffer I silence. I don’t have a tremendous nurturing quality. I’m a very straight forward tell it like it is person. I start off every morning with the same dissertation. Pay attention to what I’m showing you if you want to have a successful day is definitely stated. So it’s very easy to see who wasn’t paying attention once we start fishing. I don’t expect any angler to be able to do exactly what I do. There’s a lot of experience there. But when you have to tell your anglers 20-30 times a day to not reel the hardware into the eyelets because it damages the eyelet and to always have the line roller under the the rod. It gets frustrating. Not only does it hamper your ability to successfully land a fish but it is also meant to avoid knots twists and tangles that take time away from your fishing. I could go on and on. Paying attention and following directions are fundamental learning skills. You get what you give. Thanks again for booking with me. Capt. Mike.
