Really enjoyed our trip! As novice fisherwomen and one guy, We really felt that Joe and his crew really helped us out but but didn’t try to be overwhelming. We learned a lot and I have already planned to book two more trips this season, it is well worth the money and a lot of fun!

Wow I cannot say enough good things about today.  What a great experience with Colby.  Not only was he a great captain and teacher he was great person.  I was able to catch 4 (3 rainbow and 1 brown)  trout fly fishing today for the first time.  I can’t wait to do this again in the fall when it is cooler and to make this a hobby when I retire.  Give them a try this was well worth the time and money.

We had a nice morning fishing the Toccoa with Captain Joe. Learned a lot about trout fishing that I would have never known otherwise. This was my first time fishing with a guide. When you’re with someone that clearly knows what they are talking about it makes all the difference. We went home with eight nice trout and many more that we released. Go with someone that knows what they are doing! You won’t regret it.

Fishing was a little slow when we hit it, but the captain put us in good position and was obviously very knowledgeable about the water and surrounding areas.  Did all of the things that you would expect from a fishing assistance perspective.  Fetching stuck lures, retying and re-rigging, etc.  Good conversation but not overly talkative.  All in all a good trip.  Will do it again

Colby is an experienced guide who knows his way around the river. He knows the spots where the fish were and areas where the river was deep or shallow. It was an enjoyable trip with an excellent guide and we will definitely be back!
