We had a wonderful day out on the water with Captain Doug! The fishing was really tiff, the ONLY reason for a 4 star overall experience.  Captain Doug pulled out all the tricks trying to get the fish to bite. He put us on fish all day but the bite was just really slow. He let my daughter drive the boat just to try and give us a great experience.  We went to numerous places, went offshore even trying to put fish in the boat when we were on a back water trip! Great experience, I highly recommend Captain Doug. He is very courteous and respectful- he got us on the fish and was very willing to teach my 12 year old on the finer points of fishing in this area of the world, at a level that didn’t insult her intelligence! Thanks Doug. We’re going again soon.

My son and I had a great time. Captain Doug was a true professional. He went above and beyond to take us to many spots where the fish were. The boat and equipment are top notch.You can tell he works hard at his craft.  I would recommend him to anyone and will be booking another trip with him in the future

We had an AWESOME experience with Captain Doug. Obviously no one can predict the weather when you book months in advance. We had the best day and did most of our fishing in the Gulf. We took home plenty to cook up (and did). Made the fish dip the Capt told us about and it was a hit! We will be back next year!

Captain Doug did a great job. He worked hard to keep us on fish and was enjoyable to spend the day with. His boat is perfect with enough room for fishing and comfort for the ride, great electronics, quality gear and enough speed to get you to the fishing spots quickly. We’ve done many charters through the years and this was one of the most enjoyable ever. We will definitely be fishing again with Divergent and Captain Doug! I highly recommend him!
