We caught bonitas and a mahi that morning than I drove 12 miles offshore looking for mahi (not many charters will do that on a 6hr trip) that didn’t work out so we fished a wreck at the end caught a few fish, lost a few, and threw a few back. This man left no explanation because he was mad about the catch. We caught two blackfin tuna at the beginning of the trip and the bite was slow so I drove way offshore looking for some mahi. We struck out there and went back in for bottom fishing which we took one bite that didn’t connect. He got very upset we were not catching alot of fish and asked “how much money do I get back of we go in right now” so it had been 4hrs into a 6hr trip I took them back to the dock and charged him for a 4hr trip. Yesterday was slow today we went out and caught 6 big Bonitas trolling and 3 big cero mackerel live bait fishing with light tackle. Point of the story is sometimes fishing is good sometimes the conditions make it tough but I always work hard and do my best to put you on the fish.
