Trip Summary

The springtime fishing has been great action most days out there and theres been plenty of blackfin tuna, mahi, sailfish, and some wahoo around. Grouper season has finally opened and we'll be fishing for them until December.

The mahi bite has been great on most days the weather allows the trip offshore. If you want to catch mahi make sure to book a 6hr trip because there is a good bit of travel offshore. Also king mackerel, tuna, and bonitos on the reef. Bottom fishing for snapper and more has been hot as well.

The past few days out there have been non stop action on the mahi. Light tackle and live bait was the ticket woth some trolling in between spots. Even a wahoo might show up!

April is the first month we start to see mahi in greater numbers and today was a good showing of them. With over 20 fish caught and a few keepers in the mix it was good action trolling and on the live baits when we would get a school up to the boat!
