When we started out the radio was filled with chatter about “picking” at the fish.  Meaning the bite was slow.  By the end of the trip Captain Weaver was making side bets with the other captains on who will hook up first.  We won of course!  Then Captain Weaver gave the others our secret to success.  I won’t make that public here.  Book a charter with him to find out. Our Captain Greg Weaver and mate did a great job. The entire family had a great time. We got rescheduled and the captain Weaver was very good about keeping us informed about sea conditions. The weather wasn’t very nice which worked out GREAT. It wasn’t hot and had we not been fishing probably would have been stuck in the house.. The mate cleaned all our fish and we had a great dinner!

Captain was honest about not alot of bites on the morning trip. Assured us he would do what he could. Captain Greg has is on the fish within minutes of getting out. Matt is a great mate who was very informative about the boat and answered all my questions about the charter business in VA Beach. Captain Greg and Matt were great and worked hard to find some fish.  It started a little slow as the fish were not hungry but they made an effort talking with other boats to find us some red drum to pull in and then a bunch of other fish.  They cleaned and fillet the catch for us and helped make some great memories.
