I took my son for his first trip and my first time fishing in va beach . We went late in the season. Captain Greg called me and said the fishing was very bad, and he would understand if I wanted to cancel, it was very nice of him to give me a heads up and the option to cancel if I wanted too.  But we didn’t cancel and went out anyway, the weather and the water were great and as the captain said, the fishing was bad. Caught a few undersized Spanish mackerel and blue fish.  This trip was really about my son going on his first fishing trip whether he caught or not he had a good time.  Captain Greg and his first mate Mathew were great. They did everything they could to try to help us catch fish.  Next time we will go in prime season.  Thanks captain for a great trip.

We had a great trip. Captain Greg reached out to me very quickly prior to booking the trip because I had a question. He also touched base with me prior to the trip with what to bring and what we could expect. Once on the boat we were told fishing might not be great because of the heat but using his knowledge and experience the captain put us on some very good fish. Matt, the first mate, did an amazing job with helping get the rods ready and landing the fish into the cooler. After the trip Matt also fileted the fish up for us in a very timely manner. Even though it wasn’t his primary boat you could tell Matt was experienced and knew his way around the boat.  I would highly recommend this trip, everyone in my group from my 12 year old daughter to my 72 year old father had a great time.

Greg (Captain) and Hunter (First Mate) are top notch.  Even if we would not have caught fish they would still make it a fun day.  But WE DID catch fish, BIG FISH!  Started with a bunch of typical Blues, Spanish Mackerel 20ish & couple of Stingrays. Then hammer down once they located a school of Red Drum.  Missed 1 & landed 4 monsters.  The bonus was when they spotted a big & beautiful Cobia. Greg casted to it & hooked up as it zipped across the top of the water and the fight was on. My son was able to bring it in after a great fight.  First Red Drum and Cobia for us.  Overall on time, very clean boat, friendly, helpful, worked it hard to get on the fish, great & positive on instruction and thorough on the fish cleaning at the end.  Thank you Greg and Hunter, you gave us a perfect day.

We took our 2 oldest grandsons fishing on Capt Greg Weaver’s boat and we were caught lots of fish! Hunter, the First Mate, was great in coaching us to reel the fish in, he engaged in good conversation. Captain was great at spotting fish. The highlight was each of the boys got to reel in a large red drum! Very exciting! We highly recommend E-fishinsea Sports Fishing for a family trip or anyone! The boat is comfortable and clean and couldn’t ask for anyone better than Gregg and Hunter! Thank you! We will do this again!

Captain Greg will give you the best chance of finding the fish! He has a great, stable, clean boat, top of the line equipment and got us on the fish quickly.  I really appreciate that Greg is very genuine, still excited to fish and his only goal is to show the clients a good time.  Ive been on many charters all over the place and E-fishinSea is seriously one of the best operations I’ve been on.
