Captain Danny and 1st mate Sarah were awesome!  Quick 6 mile jaunt out to “the spot”  dropped in the lines and put us on a fish before we even got another line in the water.  After that it was non-stop action til we decided we had enough fish to eat and store for future meals.  A big plus was their knowledge of the fishery and Cleveland area.  We have plenty to do and see for the rest of our week here.  Thanks a lot, we will be back to charter again!

Absolutely perfect way to end our vacation in Cleveland! Captain Danny knew all the best spots for walleye; ended up leaving with limit and several memories. Husband and I were thrilled with Danny and Sean and we highly highly recommend a trip with Midtown Fishing Charters. We’ll be back come next year!

We did an evening 1/2 day trip, and when we got to the water it was much too choppy to go past the breaker walls. But Danny promised that as soon as things calmed down we would get out there. We did a little bit of fishing inside the wall, and even had some action, but Danny held true to his word and as soon as things settled on the lake he got us on the fish.

From there, my boys just wore out their reeling muscles, and we had several meals worth of sweet, sweet walleye on board.

Danny and crew were friendly and efficient and took the time to teach us the how’s and what’s of how the gear worked, so my boys didn’t just catch fish, they actually learned a little bit about how they could do it on their own.

Great experience!

This was our first time taking a charter boat on lake Erie.  Captain Dan was very nice and prepared when we arrived.  He had all the equipment and bait/lures necessary for the day.  He gave us a quick lesson since we were fairly novice and got us set up quickly to troll for Walleye.  Within the first several minutes the line was jerking with a fish on it and my 17 year old daughter pulled in the first fish of the day.  It didn’t take long until the three of us reached our 18 fish limit of Walleye!!  It was pretty much non stop, we were catching good size walleye almost every 5 minutes!!
Captain Dan was really nice about helping us, but he also had the perfect combination of backing up and letting us do it ourselves.  We still had time left on our booking and it was a beautiful day so we opted to take a cruise around the science center area and enjoy the day. 
We had a great time and went home to enjoy a fresh Walleye dinner that night.

had a great time with Capt.  Danny and his first mate. We thought at first the boat may be a little small with 6 adults (4 plus crew) but after learning the ins and outs of how Danny and mate worked room want really an issue.  Even though it got choppy towards the end Danny was well too stay out and we end up with 2 steel head on top of the walleye we had already caught! Great time ago around and will charter again!
