An unforgettable day on the water with Captain Taylor!

From start to finish, this trip was everything you could hope for in a deep-sea adventure. Captain Taylor knew exactly where to go and made sure we were on the fish all day long! Between the big amberjack (a true reef donkey!), hard-fighting redfish, skipjack that wouldn’t quit jumping, and even a little tuna that almost became shark bait, there was never a dull moment.

This is our second charter with get the gaf.
He does like to troll more so
But you will catch fish doing so.
Weather was fair. We went out deep and tried but weather kicked us back.
So he put us on the kings. 
Caught 3.
Would recommend captain taylor for your outing.  Great with younger anglers
Only other thing is listen to what he tells you.
Patience get a little tested.

We had some pretty good wind the morning of the trip which made the waves pretty rough so im glad we decided to do more inshore near the bay since we had 3 kids on board. Taylor put us on some good sized bull redfish and we nearly caught our boat limit for the day. They were delicious later thay evening.

This was our first ever fishing trip like this. We didn’t know what to expect, I booked this trip because of the great reviews. Once I saw Captain Taylor come strolling up in his boat I thought to myself “ This guy looks like he’s going to be pretty cool “. And Captain Taylor did not disappoint us. We booked a 3 hour trip and were on fish for most of that time. Captain is very knowledgeable about fishing and the rules, and he was just generally a very nice guy. We caught two big Redfish, lost another BIG one that broke the line. We had a great time and we are definitely going to book Captain Taylor again, but for a longer trip this time. Whoever books with Captain Taylor will have an awesome trip and catch some fish. Thanks again Captain.

My husband and I wanted to take our 2 boys deep sea fishing and were so disappointed when we showed up to the harbor and our charter canceled. I immediately got on the fishing booker and found Get the Gaff. We had the best time! He made sure the boys caught all kinds of fish. We were even able to bring some back and have it cooked at AJs. Definitely will be back and recommend Get the Gaff!
