	Come to La Paz in January to go after Striped Marlin, because the bite in the winter months is better than almost anywhere else. Wahoo is also on a roll, as well as Mahi Mahi, Snapper, and Bonito.</div>

The weather is mild and the fishing conditions are excellent for reeling in Amberjack, Roosterfish, and Snapper nearshore. Don't forget about Striped Marlin, though, who's still the main star offshore.

	Spring is just around the corner, which means Roosterfish is plentiful. The Snapper bite is also good, and if you're looking for a strong fighter, go after Amberjack and Striped Marlin further out.</div>

	Come to La Paz to enjoy the beautiful weather and first-class Striped Marlin season. In case you're not a Billfish aficionado, you can still target monster Roosterfish, Bonito, and Sierra Mackerel closer to shore.</div>

Blue and Striped Marlin are the ultimate catch in May, and Snapper, Grouper, and Roosterfish could easily find their way to your hook as well. This is also the best time to catch big Amberjack.&nbsp;

Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Amberjack, and Sierra Mackerel are just some of the A-listers you can find around La Paz in June. If you're on the lookout for giant Blue Marlin, this is your month.

Enjoy the Dorado Shoot Out mid-July and hook monster Mahi Mahi. Black Marlin love the warm waters, and you can see Sailfish, Wahoo, and plenty of other big game creatures in abundance.

	This is one of the most productive months in La Paz – Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi – all the offshore A-listers are there for the taking, along with even more inshore.</div>

Come September, you'll get the chance to chase Blue Marlin and Sailfish and land your next Billfish trophy. The Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Yellowfin Tuna bites are also top notch, so you're in for a memorable day.

Though the weather is cooling down, the bite remains red-hot. There's a plethora of fish to choose from, so head out and hunt Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, and Wahoo, along with many smaller creatures.

Sailfish season is at its best, and Mahi Mahi and Yellowfin Tuna are just as active. The Wahoo bite is superb, and you can still find a decent number of Black, Blue, and Striped Marlin around.

Come to La Paz to get away from the cold and stay for the top-notch Tuna fishery. Striped Marlin don't shy away from the right lure presentation either, and neither do Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, or Snapper.

Fishing in Mazatlán in January is great whatever the depth. Striped Marlin roam the bluewaters, Snook swarm the shallows, and Snapper and Grouper can be found on the reefs.

Mazatlán Carnival has been running since 1898 and is reportedly the biggest in Latin America behind Rio. See the parades and the beauty pageants, then head offshore for some daytime Swordfishing.

Inshore anglers won't be disappointed by the fishing in March. Snook, Jack Crevalle, and Cero Mackerel are on fire, and you can run into Roosterfish and Mullet Snapper in the estuaries, too.

The Sailfish bite picks up in April and Striped Marlin are still going strong. Mahi Mahi arrive in big numbers offshore and Roosterfish show up in force in the shallows.

The first few Blue Marlin show up in May, just as the Striped Marlin bite starts to cool off. Sailfish and Mahi Mahi are in full swing, and there are plenty of Tuna, too. Get out there and hook one!

Big game season really gets going in June, with Blue and Black Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Yellowfin Tuna. Inshore, this is your last chance for awesome Snook fishing and the Roosterfish are biting hard.

Blue and Black Marlin are at their peak, as are Sailfish. This is your best chance of landing a Billfish Slam, if you can take the heat. Beware, the mercury can rise above 90 pretty easily.

The summer sun burns on throughout August. Head offshore to get some air and try your luck at Billfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna. Otherwise, take on huge Roosterfish in the shallows.

September 16th is Mexican Independence Day. Crowds gather to remember the grito (shout) that kicked it all off. Escape the noise by hitting the water in search of Roosterfish and Marlin.

October is the last month of Mazatlán's world-famous Bull Mahi season. Head out for your chance to beat the town's record – a monster 83-pounder hauled aboard in the '70s.

November marks the most iconic festival in the Mexican calendar: el Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). See the parades then get offshore to enjoy the end of peak Billfish season.

With average highs of 80 degrees and four different Billfish to target, you couldn't ask for a better place to spend the holidays. Hit the reefs and hook up some Snapper for a real festive feast.
