Two of my children and I were in the Azures and last minute we wanted to go fishing.  We met Pedro and George and George took us out on the trip.  We did not catch big game, but we did catch 3 Mackerel, which the kids loved.  Thank you - the kids and I will remember the trip for our lives.  At the end my son and George were good friends!  I recommend.

I went fishing with Captain Pedro for three full days from Ponta Delgada. Brought my 80 year father and my sister. The boat is large, comfortable and clean with the latest sport fishing tackle and equipment. From the start, Pedro was welcoming and friendly, and he and his crew made us feel very comfortable. While we did not catch marlin, we caught some tuna, and Pedro and his crew used their best efforts devoting their full time and attention to fishing. I highly recommend captain Pedro!

My friend and I booked a full day big game trip with Captain George. Boat was a nice size and he bad quality fishing gear. He was knowledgeable and engaging and had some great stories but first and foremost his priority was putting us on fish - and he did!! Pedro did his best to find the fish. We went after many schools of birds, hits on the fishfinder and ploughed through many miles of ocean. The crew never stopped and kept on looking for signs. But fishing is fishing, and you need some luck. Unfortunately in our 4 hour trip, no bites. We did see a few whales and many, many dolphins jumping besides the boat. My friend and I booked half a day Big Game Fishing with Pedro and couldn’t have asked for a better captain. Pedro was very welcoming, had a positive attitude and made the trip very pleasant. Despite the conditions being a bit harsh, we were very successful with a total of 11 tunas. Overall, we had a great time with Pedro and would book another trip with him any time!
