Overall

our family of 4 booked a half day with Pedro and Vashko and it delivered the memories! We chased for the first few hours but remained positive and under up persevering, landing a big tuna to end our experience! It was an experience we will never forget, capped with a delicious tuna dinner tonight. We would definitely do this again as a family and Pedro and vashko were awesome and really friendly! Thank you for a great fishing experience in the azores!!!! The Dunlop family.

The sea was calm and most of the time the sky was overcast which actually helped, in terms of air temperature. The big-eye tuna had the audacity to avoid us :) even if two fishes in the 40 kg range were hooked by a nearby fishing vessel, a fact which we have witnessed. Plenty of dolphins were seen, some of which came within metres from the boat. The Portuguese man-of-war could be seen at least every ten minutes, with the boat underway.
