Background
My first stint at guiding came back when i lived in Miami/Homestead, FL. I was working in bank management, but found myself literally eating, breathing and living fishing. I would take friends out who had taken well known guides, and we would have equal or greater success. As many as 4-5 times a week, I would get out of work, take off my tie, and change in my car, heading to do some night fishing. I would fish a few hours, head home, clean the gear and fish, and do it all over the next day. I realized that if you truly loved what you do, you could do it forever. I got out of banking. I went and obtained my captain's license, and guided Biscayne Bay and Flamingo. I did this until we left Miami due to family medical issues where we moved to Ocala. We stayed for a year and a half in Ocala before I just couldn't take being away from the saltwater. We moved to Cape Coral so I could attend Marine Mechanics school. It was only a matter of time before the itch to guide again returned...

Experienced, professional, educational,  helpful, patient and friendly are the words to describe Captain Dan.

As a lifelong city boy this was my first time out fishing in the ocean. Captain Dan couldn’t of made the trip any easier than he did. We had 6 people in our group. Ages 9 to 45.  The way Captain Dan manuvered though all 6 people preparing poles, prepping bait, hooking on the bait, taking the tough fish off the hooks was amazing.  He did it all that as he constantly gave great advice on how to fish better. You can tell Captain Dan was born on the seas. Great experience I’ll never forget.

Our Captain was great! He was very knowledgeable about the fish, bait we used and the area we were fishing. Our experience was as we had hoped it would be. Captain Dan cleaned our fish at the end of the trip and was very pleasant the entire time we were on his boat.We caught a number of different fish such as Corgey’s, Grouper, snapper just to name a few. We brought back over 35 fish from just half a day not including what we threw back. Would recommend this fishing charter to everyone!!!

Right out of the gate catching fish!  When action got slow moved on to the next spot.  Crew was great with my two boys and wife.  To top it off we were introduced to smoked mackerel salid and crackers, man that was some good stuff!  Would defiantly recomend them for a quick offshore trip for rod bending action.  Thank you for a great experience.
