Great cruising along the coastline while we were trawling.  This private charter gave us yet another beautiful view of Sao Miguel from the water.  Perfect for a family activity.  Captain Jorge and first mate were adamant that each member of our family have the chance to reel in a catch.  They were patient and taught teenagers and grandparents alike how to read the fish finder and reel in our catch - triggerfish, white sea bream and grouper - large enough to keep.  Would definitely recommend! ... our family of 4 booked a half day with Pedro and Vashko and it delivered the memories!  We chased for the first few hours but remained positive and under up persevering, landing a big tuna to end our experience!  It was an experience we will never forget, capped with a delicious tuna dinner tonight.  We would definitely do this again as a family and Pedro and vashko were awesome and really friendly!  Thank you for a great fishing experience in the azores!!!!  The Dunlop family.

The experience of the captain was incredible, he made every move right to get a fish onto the hook. The gear itself was perfect, had no problem with that. It is still unbeliveable that we caught a big tuna on a 4 hour trip. This was a lifetime experience, definitely worth the money!

Captain John is very experienced.  He knows where to find tuna.  We booked a 4-hour shipping trip and we caught a 80+ lb tuna.  We spent an hour to just pull it up!  It’s very fun! We’d recommend captain John to everyone.

Our group of 4 had an amazing experience fishing with Captain Jorge and 1st mate Vasco.  We caught lots of fish, including a few double headers!  We caught 3 varieties of bottom fish.  The crew were very accommodating with ensuring the reels accommodated our reeling preferences, baiting and taking fish off hooks too.  If the fish are biting they know where to find them!!
